I am Komor. A media enthusiast who loves getting behind the camera and filming or getting in front of it to play video games. My passion for video creation is undying and I hope to gain knowledge and skills on the art everyday. I am currently studying BA (Hons) Media Production at Birmingham City University and am due to graduate July 2020.

I was introduced to the subject of media at GCSE level. Luckily for me, one of our modules was based around video games. 

​

That swiftly led me to take on a Level 3 BTEC Extended Diploma in Gaming and New Media at the Birmingham Ormiston Academy.

At University level I started studying Media & Communications which was based mostly around theory work. I always hoped there would be a more practical course I might be able to do, and then came Media Production.

I was able to get behind the camera, get into real production studios and take on roles such as Director and Vision Mixer for the first time... and I loved it. Everything I thought I knew was minuscule compared to the amount of knowledge I have gained over the years at university.

I was also able to gain work experience with companies like the BBC, Black Country Radio and the Asian British Chamber of Commerce. This also developed my skills in camera operation and video editing.
